It's the part I've put the most love into. A wide sun deck with mattresses and Mallorcan ikat cushions, designed so you can lie back, soak up the sun and be comfortable the whole trip.
The story
I'm Sergi, a 25-year-old from Mallorca. A year ago I fell for this llaüt, built in Alcúdia, Mallorca, and set out to bring it back to life. What followed was a full restoration: months of work, caring for every detail and pouring a lot of love into her. Today she sails again, more beautiful and comfortable than ever, for you to enjoy with us.

We set off at first light, when the sea is calm and empty, to enjoy the finest sunrise in the bay. We anchor in a cove for the first swim of the day, with breakfast, snorkel gear and cold drinks on board.

FAQ
The llaüt is Mallorca's traditional wooden boat with noble lines. Unlike crowded tourist boats, Llaüt Na Rumba is a private boat excursion, just for your group (up to 5 people), with a local skipper and a relaxed pace. Sailing in a llaüt means experiencing the sea the way Mallorcans have for generations.
Our boat experiences and private excursions in northern Mallorca range from €295 (sunset, 2.5 hours) to €399 (Cala Route, 3.5 hours). All prices are per trip for the entire group (up to 5 people), skipper included. For a group of five, the sunrise trip is just €69 per person.
We depart from Club Náutico Ca'n Picafort (Plaça Jaume I, 11), right in the Bay of Alcúdia, northern Mallorca. We're a 15-minute drive from Alcúdia, 10 from Playa de Muro, and 45 from Palma. Easy to reach with parking nearby. We'll send you the exact pontoon when you confirm your booking.
The llaüt is exclusively for your group. Not shared with strangers. It's a private boat charter for up to 5 people. You choose the experience (sunrise, Cala Route or sunset), the music and the pace. Like having your own boat for a few hours.
All our boat experiences include: local skipper, snorkel gear, cold drinks and a Mallorcan tasting on board. The sunrise trip includes breakfast. You just need to bring your swimwear, towel, sunscreen and a love of the sea. We provide the rest.

It's a guided excursion with a skipper, not a bareboat rental. Sergi, a local Mallorcan skipper, is at the helm throughout the trip. You just relax and enjoy the boat ride through the northern coves of Mallorca. It's the best boat trip if you're looking for an authentic experience. Club Náutico Ca'n Picafort, Plaça Jaume I, 11. We'll send you the exact pontoon location via WhatsApp when you confirm your booking. Public parking is a 3-minute walk away.
The llaüt complies with recreational boating regulations. It carries life jackets for adults and children, a first-aid kit and mandatory safety equipment. The skipper holds a valid professional nautical license and liability insurance.
If the weather forecast prevents safe navigation, we offer a free date change or a full refund. For cancellations on your part, please give us at least 48 hours' notice and we'll refund your deposit.
Children are welcome on board. We have child-sized life jackets. We recommend the Cala Route or the sunset trip for families with young children. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
The departure time is confirmed the day before, based on the weather forecast and daylight. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early. The trip duration starts counting from the agreed departure time.
Book via WhatsApp. A 25% deposit confirms your date. The balance is paid on the day of the trip, in cash or via Bizum. You'll receive written confirmation with all the details.
Included: skipper, fuel, insurance, snorkel gear, cold drinks, Mallorcan tasting and life jackets. Not included: towels, sunscreen. The price is per group, all-inclusive.
The skipper speaks Spanish, English and Catalan (Mallorcan). For German, we can manage basic communication. If you need a specific language, let us know when booking.
